How do i learn more about house kheperu?
Reading through The Midnight Sun (Our Newsletter), the blog, learning about Our Practice and Paths, selections under From the Archives under our Resource Hub are all good places to start. We also recommend checking out Michelle Belanger’s books, particularly the House Kheperu Archives, the Psychic Vampire Codex, and the Psychic Energy Codex. If even that isn’t enough to sate your curiosity, or if you’re someone who gets more out of conversations than books, you’re welcome to join us at our annual Gather.
Can I present at Gather?
Are you someone who has a class to teach, or feel that you could contribute a panel to one of our Gather events? Email info@kheperu.org - This is not a guarantee as we have specific submission times for Gather events, knowing that you have an interest is an important step in the process!
how do I apply for membership?
Having to meet in person was traditionally the standard we have applied but through COVID-19, we have developed a more inclusive means to approach membership. We currently open application windows when we have the availability to take on new Aspirants. We have been refining this process to allow those who feel most called to the work of the House the opportunity to apply over the last several years. We do deeply encourage anyone ever interested in joining to get to know us within this Discord, as it helps us get to know them better. We generally encourage those who are interested, especially once they have built a rapport with us, to let us know they are interested in membership. We make no promises of giving out an application if or when asked, but when the time is right, those interested often are notified and given an application. As some of these processes are still in a sophomore state, we will continue to refine them for potential applicants, with the goals of making it more clear and easier to interface with.
House Kheperu has many aspects of the work that we do and they are:
Nonprofit work: such as Gather and Virtual Gathers, meditations, etc
Teaching: Classes, workshops, and representing Kheprian energy work when/where asked
Self Development/Growth: This includes seeking a personal therapist available to you, and comes with the benefit of a supportive group of people within our internal membership. That support is honest, which means it can be hard at times but it can also be deeply rewarding
Spiritual Development/Growth: This includes learning control of one's energetic capability, understanding Kheprian energy theory, uncovering one's past lives, connecting with and build a relationship with one's Higher Self, working with entities and so very much more.
Participating/Developing new energy techniques, rituals and meditations
will you make me a vampire?
No. We won’t. Please go read the Psychic Vampire Codex, and forget what you learned from True Blood and Buffy. Fun as those shows are… they’re still fiction.
How do I get a reading from a house member?
Some of our members and allies offer energy body portraits or energy body readings. They have their own websites for those services. In general, House members do not offer traditional psychic readings. We prefer to empower you to come to your own understanding, rather than telling you what we perceive and what we think it means.
While we don't have many in person spaces at present, we are always looking to branch out within reason to new endeavors. In 2023, we brought back our in person, annual event for House Kheperu's Gather - a meeting of minds and faces where we share in learning and community once a year. While the shape of that event can change year to year, it is frequently the only space to find us gathered together these days.
There are not currently other in person events planned, but as a House of Change, nothing is permanent. Events, announcements and classes will be shared here on the website, and discussed on our other social media platforms.
